Lorna
Lorna is an exceptional colourist. She specialises in vivid colour and she is one of the most experienced members of the Amy-sha Team.
Her delicate balayage and highlighting techniques are exquisitely applied and leave you looking sun kissed and natural. Lorna is tenacious and calm and has a wonderful caring side. You will be listened to and reassured that you will receive the best possible end result.
Lorna loves kids and animals and her caring demeanour matches perfectly with the rest of the Amy-sha Team. Lorna has a great sense of humour and will always put you at ease if you're feeling nervous about your hair appointment. There is only one lorna and Amy-sha describes her as a hair dressing angel sent from heaven.
Amy-sha
Amy-sha is our salon owner and has a vast career in education over the years. She is an ex educator for Toni and guy and continues to innovate and train her team to the highest of standards with over 23 years experience in the industry.
Her trip to New York in 2019 to learn how to create the best version of the latest 'Shag' was another step up to furthering her hair cutting skills to fall in line with the latest trends. She is an absolute perfectionist and her colour work always aims for a lasting softer grown out effect whether that is highlights, balayage or working with natural grey hair to enhance and nurture a sophisticated contemporary look. She is always learning and her most recent course was working on the Kevin Murphy higher education colour course in Liverpool pushing her towards a colour specialist level.
You will need to book direct with Amy-sha, she is not available to book on line. Some colour services may be longer than normal and can only be quoted following a consultation.
Molly
Our newest stylist Molly has been a dream from the beggining. She has had a passion for doing hair since she was 4 and this certainly shows. She has in herited the hair flare from her older family members. This is in her blood.
She began her quailfications at Trafford college and has worked in a few local salons over the years.
Molly loves a challange and has had lots of experience with big transitions. Her favourite is Rainbow hair and balayage and we have certainly seen some incredible successful colour corrections since she has been with us.
She also loves a good short haircut and with her additional talent for cooking and baking its no wonder her attention to detail is promoted through her crafted haircuts.
Molly is above all friendly and down to earth. Book Molly for that genuinely warm and lovely hair salon experince.
Archie
Archie is enthusiastic and passionate about Hairdressing. Cutting and styling is his favourite area of the profession. He can create some of the best texured shapes and his signiture Sabrina Carpenter blow out is to die for.
Archie enjoys dong hair for photo shoots and fashion events and this enables him to sustain a high level of creativity in the salon with his passed on to his clients.
He has a natural flare with curly hair and helps clients to embrace the movement in their hair with lots of tips on products and manageability.
He has worked in salons for over 6 years and this has give him an excellent insight into what clients really need.
Outside the salon you might find him at the cinema which he loves to chat about when you're in the chair, he has a huge interest in music and often takes over the playlist in the salon bringing the perfect atmosphere.
You wont be short changed with Archie, book with him and you will get the most fulfilling service leaving you wanting to secure a spot with him next time.
Lily
Lily is from our countries fashion capital London. She has been in Manchester for 2 years and with her French and English unbringing her continental flare floursihes into her hairdressing work.
Lily has also studied Fashion for over 6 years and achieved a BA hons in Costume design, until she discovered her true passion for 'Hair'. She began her studies for Hairdressing in the City centres Northern Quarter and what a great place to be absorbing all that diversity in style and culture.
Lily has also spent time being behind the camera her self so her keen eye for what looks good is both infront and begind the camera.
Her bouncy blowdry is the best and is well worth trying out to accompany some beautiful natural balayge which is one of her best niches.
Above all, Lily is patient, kind and a pleasure to be with. Her cultured knowledge allows for great conversation and a super fulfilling hair appointment experience.
